RCIA
Are you interested in finding out more about the Catholic Church?
R.C.I.A. stands for Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. It is a process in which people can find out more about the Catholic Faith.
It is for people who are not Catholic or were raised Catholic but have not yet received the Sacrament of Confirmation.
RCIA is a time of study and prayer to find out more about the faith. Don't worry, there is no test! But we want you to be well informed about what you are getting into. The program goes from Fall until the following Easter. No one is required to become Catholic or receive any of the Sacraments, but if you want to, you will be invited to join the Church at Easter. This is done by receiving the Sacraments of Initiation, which are Baptism (if you haven't received that already), Confirmation, and First Communion. These are traditionally celebrated at the Easter Vigil, the night before Easter Sunday.
If you are interested in joining RCIA, please fill out the this form (or give it to someone who is) and bring it to the Church. We are at 326 2nd St., Nashwauk, MN 55769. You can drop it off at the office, mail it in, or hand it to Fr. Babu after Mass. If you have any questions, Fr. Babu can be contacted at (218) 885-1126.
God Bless!
