Confirmation is a free gift of God through the power of the Holy Spirit that strengthens us to live a fully Catholic life. If you are in 10th or 11th grade these are the years when you more intensely begin to prepare your soul to receive this great gift.
Here's a checklist to help 10th and 11th Graders prepare for Confirmation:
___Attend a Confirmation Retreat in 10th or 11th grade (no exceptions):
___Go to Mass Every Sunday
___You MUST have a 75% attendance record at Wednesday night faith formation to be Confirmed. It is essential to have a good understanding of our faith when you make the choice to be confirmed. Your discipleship leaders will take attendance. Please contact Mari Jo if you have to miss a Wednesday
It is important to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation Soon before Confirmation (Your soul must be in a state of grace (i.e. no mortal sins on your conscience) in order for the graces of the Sacrament of Confirmation to be fruitful).
